Red Son Supermanby ~MMAsamune

I was just flipping through my Red Son TPB and was inspired to draw this by Dave Johnson's awesome "He's Watching You" cover. I was going to put a the Russian text for "I'm watching you" in the background but I couldn't get it to look good. I took some creative license again with the lighting since I didn't have a reference.

I tried to get him kind of looking like (I think he's called Emperor Superman) the older version but I think he turned out to look more like Namor/Black Adam. I tried to colour greyscale again but again. I couldn't get it to look the way I wanted.

The shield is off on the left side due do to me not using a ruler or proper guidelines. I did use some but more or less eyeballed it.

Actually, I imagined it as being like that Uncle Sam poster. It was going to be "Я наблюдаю Вас" which translates loosely to "I am observing you" according to Google Translate.

All kiddin' aside I think that's what the poster/cover of one of the issues of the book said! XD
